Dr Thornton-Smith is patient and reassuring and I always feel listened to which, as an anxious person, is something I very much appreciate. I think Arundel Surgery is fortunate to have Dr Thornton-Smith as a GP.

As always Alex is person centred and shows genuine care and compassion. He is aware of his patients ongoing issue and shows an interest in their over all wellbeing as well as the presenting issue. We are very lucky to have him as our family doctor

I have the utmost respect and gratitude for Dr Thornton-Smith. He recently responded promptly to my request for help with a severe chest infection. As a result of this and the medication prescribed I have been able to stop my condition deteriorating rapidly ( I was struggling to breath ) and now, although slowly, I am beginning to feel my condition improving. I am extremely grateful to Dr Thornton-Smith for taking such a prompt and proactive approach to my condition, by doing so I am absolutely convinced he prevented me becoming a much more serious case with all the considerable additional medical care, time and administration that would have been required.
